Dennis Hof Passes Away, Love Ranch South Closes… again

One of our most blogged about people (okay, easily the most), Dennis Hof, has passed away at 72 years of age, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.

The late Dennis Hof owned the Love Ranch South, Love Ranch North, and the Moonlight Bunny Ranch. He wont the Republican primary for Assembly Seat 36, beating James Oscarson. Dennis called himself “The Trump of Pahrump”.

The sheriff says there was no indication of foul play at this time.

The HBO show Cathouse put Dennis and the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in the spotlight showing viewers behind the scenes of a legal brothel.
His campaign manager Chuck Muth Tweeted out the bad news confirmation.

The Love Ranch South has shuttered it’s doors once again. We’ve documented the closings and reopenings of the Love Ranch here. Dennis Hof was the only person on the license, which means someone else would have to apply. This could take months.

Dennis Hof will remain on the election ballot in November. Signs of his passing will be put up in all polling locations in District 36. If he wins the election, and he just may, according to Mr. Muth, then the Republicans will be able to choose who they want for that seat.

Mr. Hof passed away in the Love Ranch South. RIP.
Our blog won’t be the same without you.
